I am happily surprised by this book. The story started immediately and the characters were more alive than I antissipated. I had too much bad karma about feys and regular fantasy so I tried to keep this book at my to be read list.
But now I feel stupid as the world was original and the High Lords presented new way of thinking. All in all the book was not mature enough for me as an adult reader as would like to go little bit deeper level in the character creation but the writing was so good that it kept me going.
And love… it always happens too fast or too slow. You need to decide it yourself. First I was disappointed but then I realised that there is two other books. Something will happen in the future, good or bad.
And thank U Sarah J. Maas for the High Lord of Night Court. I fell in love with him immediately. Your side characters were the best thing in this book!
I gave four stars out of five because there could have been more realistic descriptions of the sorrow, pain and losing family. Now everything felt a little bit polished to belong to the fantasy genre for adults.

So when she spots a deer in the forest being pursued by a wolf, she cannot resist fighting it for the flesh. But to do so, she must kill the predator and killing something so precious comes at a price …
